Duties: ID high-impact opps w/in our ind by imprv data flow btw our co’s diff depts; focus on using co’s past client data, analyz how best to segment that list & dvl seg-specific automns for targeted mrktng distribn; use math or sim mdls of probs, rel constants & var, restrictns, alts, & their num parametrs to help def & guide data-driven decision-mkng procs; lead ideation, biz planning, & execute data sci initiatives to address & pursue ID’d opps; bld fin, stat, & econ mdls for analyz data to execute biz, sales, & mktng strats; conduct stat & econ analys based on our client data; run regresn mdls & use results to est amt of capital to invest in pursuing var ID’d biz opps; & conduct in-depth research on other co’s in ind to bld most competitive sales strats poss.
ADD’L REQS: 24 mos exp in: Collab w/ exec mgmt to drive biz success thru data-driven sols & to clarify mgmt objs; Shape & def data sci roadmap, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-mkng, & deliv’g sig biz impact thru gathering & validtn of info, apply analyt judgmnt & stats tests; Dvl & drive data sci strat; ID high-impact opps w/in biz by perf testing & validtn of mdls to ensure adequacy (reformulating mdls as needed); Solve probs by getting & analyzing lrg amts of data to ID biz insights & opps, designing simultns & experimts, & dvlpg stats mdls by tailoring them to biz needs; & Formalize assumptions about how our sys are expected to work & dvl meths to systmat’ly ID outliers.
