Registration/Enrollment Clk 3 Description
Bellingham Technical College invites applications for one full-time regular classified Registration and Enrollment Clerk III position. This position reports to the Director of Registration & Enrollment. Position is anticipated to start in August, 2021.
Under general supervision, consistently provides excellent customer service to students and the public primarily focused on enrolling and admitting students, assisting with locating information on the BTC web site, and providing accurate referrals across campus. This position is a first point of contact for Student Services and the college and communicates in person, phone, email and virtually. Provides general assistance and information for all students related to enrollment, applying for admissions, scheduling and checking in for appointments, student records, financial aid and assists students to accomplish transactions online from a point of entry to completion. This position performs a variety of enrollment, data entry and clerical duties.
Veterinary Technician Description
Bellingham Technical College invites applications for the following professional exempt Licensed Veterinary Technician position. This is a full-time, 10 month (Sep-June), annually continuous position, overtime exempt from FLSA and unions and is at-will. The position reports to the Dean of Nursing and Allied Health, with direction from the program Instructors. Position will start in September, 2021.
Under the general direction of the coordinator/faculty, the Veterinary Technician must have knowledge and expertise in the topics they assist in lab instruction and skills evaluation. They should promote the appropriate role of the veterinary technician in the veterinary health care team. Duties must follow state laws regarding the practice of veterinary medicine. The Veterinary Technician must be skilled and knowledgeable to set-up and monitor students. They need to be well-trained in the nursing care of animals (large animal and small animal) including small animal critical care.
