We are looking for an excellent communicator to build relationships with all levels of managers in our organization and internal/external applicants, and to promote our strategic goals and core values to a diverse audience of applicants and professional organizations. This is a working manager position that requires the ability to multitask and juggle, think on your feet, and meet high demands and recruiting challenges. If you are a critical thinker, collaborative team player and a leader, as the Recruiting Program Manager you will be an important part of building the next generation of Chelan PUD's workforce.
What you will do:
- Manage and implement recruitment programs and activities to attract and select high-quality applicants
- Use marketing and outreach efforts to develop a pipeline of talent
- Lead the District's diversity program, including compilation and submission of AA, EEO-4 and VETS100 reporting
- Consult with and coach hiring managers at all levels of the organization in building effective, compliant recruiting strategies
- Oversee applicant recordkeeping and data collection to comply with federal and state requirements
- Act as a key member of the HR management team to work collaboratively with managers to support workforce planning efforts

A BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field is required or equivalent combination of education/experience. Requires seven years' progressively responsible experience in HR and five years' recruiting; candidates with experience complying with OFCCP (or similar) and those with experience recruiting a wide variety of professional, managerial, and skilled trades are desired. Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred.
In addition to a competitive starting salary range of $91,200 - $121,600 (based on qualifications, skills and abilities), Chelan PUD employees also enjoy outstanding benefits which include the option of a zero cost medical plan (medical, dental and vision for all eligible dependents), short and long-term disability, Washington State Public Employee's Retirement System, Deferred Compensation (with company matching funds up to 5%), 11 holidays and initial personal leave accrual at 21 days per year.
