Summary

Supervise children in a variety of after school camp activities.

PETER KIRK AFTER SCHOOL CAMP - Our after school program is located at Peter Kirk Community Center, 352 Kirkland Ave. This camp will host up to 25 campers each day and will cater to children in grades K-5. We spend a lot of time outdoors (weather permitting) playing games, going on walks, arts and crafts, helping with homework, and doing just about anything fun we can think up!

Hours of Work

Peter Kirk After School camp operates September 3, 2019 – June 17, 2020, Monday through Friday and will follow the Lake Washington School District calendar.  After school camp staff are seasonal positions that support a mandatory staff to camper ratio.

Minimum Qualifications

Must possess or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification prior to start date.

Must successfully complete a thorough background check as required by the Child/Adult Abuse Information Act.

Must be age 16 or older.
 

Preferred Qualifications

One year experience working with children

Working Conditions & Physical Activities

Performs work in indoor and outdoor settings including multipurpose rooms, parks, playgrounds, beaches, the pool, and commercial recreation sites. Exposure to extended periods of direct sunlight and/or cool and damp weather is possible.
