Summary
This position plans and teaches preschool art based classes for ages 3 to 6 years. Class activities include explorations in art using a variety of materials. Research art projects, materials and supplies to create an innovative, sometimes messy, theme related class format. Instructor must have a wild imagination, enjoy working with preschoolers, and be able to communicate effectively with parents.

Hours of WorkWed. and Fri. mornings, starting in September. Additional hours may be available to substitute for other classes.
Minimum Qualifications- Must have knowledge in the skill or activity they will be instructing
- Must have or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR certification by start date.
- Must successfully complete a thorough background check as required by the Child/Adult Abuse Information Act.
- Must be age 18 or older
Experience working with preschool age children preferred.
Working Conditions & Physical ActivitiesWork is performed in a community center setting, with high levels of noise and seasonal temperature extremes. Must have ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. Must be able to walk, climb, bend, and stoop to complete tasks.
