Portland area dealership is looking for a qualified General Manager!
Responsible for leading overall successful operation of the dealership. The General Manager is responsible for operations, profitability, performance results, and customer satisfaction in all departments in the dealership.
- Plans and implements successful dealership variable and fixed operations
- Maintains CSI at or above company standards
- Assesses the operations of all dealership departments
- Works with department managers to improve operations, performance, and profitability
- Supervises department managers
- Oversees training and supervision of all dealership employees
- Oversees hiring and discipline decisions
- Oversees pricing and inventory policies are followed
- Maintains good working relationship with manufacturer and lending institutions
- Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Serves as effective dealership representative to community
- Maintains effective employee relations
- Conducts weekly meetings
Job Requirements:
- At least 4 current years in a high-volume automotive, RV, marine, powersports dealership as a General Manager
- Job stability required
- Proven track record
- Strong record of consistent positive Customer Satisfaction results
