The Department of Finance at Seton Hall University has a non-tenured track, full-time term faculty position starting in academic year 2023-24.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses from among financial strategy, financial markets, fixed income analysis, financial modeling, and financial technology (e.g., machine learning, block chain, and algorithmic trading); mentor students in the CFA Institute Research Challenge; and serve as an adviser to undergraduate finance students.
Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have an advanced degree in Finance or related fields, have a proven record of, or potential for, high-quality teaching, and have the ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, the University community, and the corporate community.
Desired Qualifications:
Candidates with a track record of collaborative teaching and student mentoring are strongly preferred. Extensive industry experience in financial technology, financial engineering, or quantitative finance would be considered a strong plus.
