Senior Software Engineer - (job location is Seattle, WA) - Design, build, unit test & deploy components for video streaming applications compatible w/ operating systems including Windows, iOS, Android, & MacOS using technologies including NodeJS, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS, Java, Swift, C++, & SQL. Develop & implement technical engineering solutions to complex video streaming issues. Develop, support & maintain public & internal facing sites & applications. Analyze & transform business req's into system req't specifications. Perform site architecture & application development for multimedia devices. Create services & workflows to automate processes. Author client-side components & integrate authoring components w/ data mappers to send data to User Interface. Review code to ensure efficiency, catch bugs & enforce standards. Assess latest technologies & tools and adapt them to solve technical problems. Document business processes & test plans for video streaming application development efforts. Mentor & train other engineers. Req's: Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or Computer Engineering & 3 yrs of exp in position offered or as Software Engineer or Staff Software Engineer OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or Computer Engineering & 5 yrs of post-Bachelor's progressive exp in position offered or as Software Engineer or Staff Software Engineer. One yr of the req'd exp must have included designing, building, unit testing & deploying components for video streaming applications compatible w/ Windows, iOS, Android, & MacOS operating systems using NodeJS, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS, Java, Swift, C++, & SQL.
