This position is responsible for overseeing the management and strategic development of Comprehensive Behavioral Health Service programs as well as providing clinical leadership and expertise within Comprehensive Behavioral Health to improve patient care throughout HealthPoint. This position has the primary responsibility for development and implementation of a Comprehensive Behavioral Health care model by working closely with the medical, pharmacy, and dental clinical leaders at HealthPoint.
Your Contributions to the Team Include:

- Collaborate with other Directors and Vice Presidents to identify business direction and clinical direction and design plans for deployment of Comprehensive Behavioral Health Services and Programs at HealthPoint.
- Responsible for hiring, performance management, talent development, employee relations, recognition, and training of Comprehensive Behavioral Health services staff that report directly to this position and matrix support for the same functions for CBH staff reporting to other leader roles in the organization.. Ensure all work is completed in support and enhancement of the objectives and goals of the organization.
- Partner with medical and dental leadership and primary care clinic management to develop, implement and/or upgrade systems that affect and/or enhance Comprehensive Behavioral Health service delivery for a diverse patient population.
- Accountable for developing and implementing quality assurance programs and practices to improve the Comprehensive Behavioral Health services and outcomes at HealthPoint
- Maintain an awareness of legislative actions that may affect program operations related to the delivery of Comprehensive Behavioral Health Services at HealthPoint, including implementing any requirements from laws and regulations.
- Work effectively as part of HealthPoint's medical, dental, and pharmacy program leadership to implement program strategic direction and improvements, act as an advocate for Comprehensive Behavioral Health integration in primary care. Accountable for the direction and coordination of diagnostic and treatment activities related to the care of patients.
- Accountable for the oversight of the Behavioral Health clinical subject matter experts for the Clinical Programs Department and for assuring that all Comprehensive Behavioral Health clinical staff are appropriately credentialed.
- Perform clinical duties that fall within the relevant job description dependent on discipline.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to streamline and enhance office operations using the HealthPoint Lean Management System (HLMS) tools and processes.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree as a psychiatrist (MD,DO) or psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D) or Psychiatric ARNP , must be board eligible or board certified in respective discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in clinical care delivery and 5+ years of people management responsibilities and management of Comprehensive Behavioral Health programs.
- 3+ years' experience in integrated clinical practice.
- Knowledgeable about Washington state governance policies and regulations related to Behavioral Health and how those policies and regulations relate to HealthPoint's efforts to offer integrated primary health services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of or experience with providing Comprehensive Behavioral Health in an outpatient primary health care setting for a diverse population.
- Knowledgeable about state governance policies and regulations related to HealthPoint's ability to offer integrated primary health services and to maintain an awareness of legislative actions that may affect program operations related to the delivery of behavioral and mental health care.
Proof of immunizations and/or immunity to: COVID-19, MMR (measles, mumps and rubella), Varicella, Annual Influenza, and TB are required for all employees. Additionally, if you work in a HealthPoint clinic, Hepatitis B. and Tdap (within last 10 years) are required. All immunizations are a condition of employment. Upon hire, employees must provide proof of their immunizations and/or immunity prior to starting or no later than their fifth (5) business day of employment.
