Summary:
This position provides advanced administrative support to the Minor Home Repair (MHR) Program at Homage. The following responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to learn and apply the rules that are required to stay within our contract compliance
- Ability to learn to compile required maps and resources to accurately complete Environmental Reviews
- Establish and maintain accurate client files that meet compliance standards
- Compose professionally written correspondence including letters and other documents
- Provide telephone support to clients; take accurate assessment of client needs and create work requests approved within Program scope and provide program information to clients
- Process and approve client applications and income updates to ensure that required documentation is provided and accurately recorded per contract rules
- Assist with month end reports
- Assist in preparing client files and closed work orders for annual audits
- Assist with creation, mailing, and processing annual income updates
- Assist up to six Repair Technicians with prioritizing and scheduling of outstanding work requests
- Photocopy, file, archive, prepare forms, documents and letters as assigned, and other duties as needed
Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or GED. Two-year degree preferred.
- Three years administrative experience with increased responsibility that provides the skill, knowledge, and abilities required to complete and prioritize assigned tasks
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects with frequent interruptions and varying deadlines
- Demonstration of forward thinking in project management
- Previous computer experience with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with databases required.
- Experience maintaining filing systems
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with the elderly or disabled desired
- Preferred experience with government contract compliance
- Ability to receive telephone calls from the public, respond to inquiries, and communicate with coworkers and others by telephone
- Experience with Salesforce, SharePoint or Microsoft Teams applications a plus
- Ability to accurately input data into database
- Ability to read English language to sufficiently read information contained in applications, rules and regulations; to understand and respond accurately to inquiries, and to handle equipment and documents
Ergonomic Requirements:
The functions of this position are not necessarily physically demanding. The functions are usually performed sitting, but may require some amount of time standing. Some amount of stooping, bending, crouching, lifting, walking, carrying, and other movements may be required.
