KIN ON HEALTH CARE CENTER seeks a DIRECTOR OF NURSING SERVICES in Seattle, WA to manage the oversee the operation of our nursing department; conduct the nursing process' assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the scope of the state's nurse practice act of registered nurse licensure; organize, plan, and lead the quality assurance, quality assessment, and quality improvement committee that oversees our nursing department; manage and administer the short term rehab unit and skilled nursing facility operation according to regulations, CMS, and managed care guidelines; collaborate with upper management in preparing, administering, and revising the annual budget for the nursing department; establish nursing departmental care objectives and goals and evaluate departmental performance; develop and implement nursing care services, policies, and procedures; develop and expand our current nursing care program to facilitate and promote rehabilitation and personal independence; direct, manage, and develop our unit coordinators, MDS team, short-term rehabilitation team to best provide care for our residents; establish work schedules with direct reports to ensure sufficient nursing staff on duty; manage and delegate tasks to direct reports and departments for ongoing educational programs; training, environmental and infection control, and technology management; direct and conduct recruitment, hiring, retention, training, and continuing education for our nursing department; maintain all records of narcotic medication (schedule II and III) in its administration, destruction, and disposal to comply with federal, state and drug enforcement administration (DEA) regulations; and ensure our skilled nursing facility complies with all state, local, and federal regulations including but not limited to Washington Nurse Practice Act, HIPPA, OSHA, and residents bill of rights at all times. 

Min. Req.: Bachelors in Nursing, Public Health or related field of study AND 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse, Nurse, or related position working with patients. WA State RN License Required. 

Salary Offered: $116,813 to $125,000 per year.
