These promotional opportunities are for current, internal King County Medic One Harborview trained, University of Washington certified Paramedics.

This recruitment will be used to build an eligible list of candidates for future Medical Services Officers (MSO's) vacancies.

Job Duties

This competitive recruitment will test for the Operations Paramedic Supervisor category and the Administrative Paramedic Supervisor category.

Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

Current career service King County Medic One paramedic with a minimum of 5 years of service at King County Medic One.

Candidates must also possess a valid Washington State Driver License.

Testing Information:
Testing will occur at the Medic One Office beginning on Tuesday, May 9th, through Thursday, May 11th, 2023. Candidates will be assigned to test on one of these dates.

Testing format:
The scenario-based assessment labs will test for leadership, interpersonal, tactical, and administrative competencies.

This is a single test for both career pathways. In the supplemental questionnaire, you are required to select one or both for which you wish to be considered.

Upon completion of the MSO Test, participants will be ranked on either the Operations Paramedic Supervisor Promotional list or the Administrative Paramedic Supervisor Promotional List or both based on their score.

Additional Information:
Applicants who do not arrive on time will not be eligible to take the test.

Business casual attire. No work uniform or clothing.
