King County's Facilities Management Division (FMD) has an opportunity as the Administrator I supporting the FMD Director's Office by providing coordination and support on various FMD projects and initiatives.
This will be a Term Limited Temporary (TLT) position or a Special Duty Assignment (SDA) opportunity for active King County career service employees who have passed the initial probationary period and meet the minimum requirements. This position is anticipated to last through December 31, 2025.

THE MOST SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
ADDITIONAL POSITION INFORMATION
This position will require onsite presence at the King County Chinook Building. Hybrid/teleworking accommodations are granted at the discretion of the supervisor and are subject to change based on the business and operational needs, or at the directive of the King County Executive.
The normal workweek is 40 hours, Monday-Friday and may vary dependent on staff schedules and operational needs.
This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is overtime eligible. Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule, every other Thursday, comprising a 40-hour workweek.
Final appointment is contingent upon successfully passing a thorough background investigation.

Job Duties
KEY DELIVERABLES AND EXPECTATIONS:
- Provide coordination and support of various FMD processes and projects.
- Assist in the development of protocols, procedures, and program execution.
- Support FMD Director's Office administrative system priorities; including documentation of procedures, assisting in development of administrative tracking systems, assist in development of electronic scheduling system, and interact with customers as needed for office coverage and support.
- Assist in data collection and analysis for various projects within FMD sections.
- Assist in the development of monitoring and tracking systems that support work activities; monitor such systems.
- Provide information to FMD management and staff on project status and administrative policies and procedures.
- Support FMD Director's Office on other project support needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
THE MOST SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Basic knowledge of information-gathering techniques and principles.
- Prior administrative experience that highlights skills in analysis, interpretation, organization, interpersonal relationships, customer service, oral and written communication.
- Previous experience in the use of personal computers and work-related software and technology.
- Previous experience with process improvement efforts.
