King County Metro is seeking an Administrator II who is interested in maintaining enterprise asset data and supporting facilities staff in Metro Transit's Facilities Division. This division is responsible for managing all facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. One critical responsibility of our division is ensuring timely maintenance and renewal of these assets to ensure our facilities stay in safe and excellent condition.
This position is part of a high-performance team that maintains data related to our business processes, work order processing, and the systems that support us. The position manages data for over 55,000 pieces of equipment, provides reports to drive business decisions, and trains our end users. The ideal candidate will have experience in a facilities or maintenance environment and have advanced knowledge of asset management systems, as well as continuous improvement concepts.- Job Duties

- Perform detailed data entry into our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system by assigning categories and codes to various asset data and maintaining them per a complex equipment hierarchy and federal regulations
- Properly code and generate corrective and preventative maintenance work orders; collaborate with stakeholders to process our preventative maintenance programs for all trades
- Participate in LEAN initiatives; assist in reviewing our asset management programs to recommend streamlining and improvements
- Support the Work Center Hotline by answering calls and emails to document work requests in EAM, develop reports, and respond to inquiries from external and internal customers
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on asset management applications and data records, and become a power user of reporting tools, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and data configuration
- Partner with other divisions and workgroups to efficiently process new assets and provide actionable data on replacements and dispositions
- Act as liaison between field/management staff and the technical team to effectively communicate software enhancement requests, technical information and data
- Troubleshoot and provide first tier resolution to end user problems in EAM
- Analyze and test new software functionalities
- Prepare presentation and training materials; conduct group and individual training for all end users
- Follow established processes for highly complex public disclosure and confidential lawsuit responses and requests for information
- Process our Elevator/Escalator Conveyance Compliance Program related to all elevators and escalators within Metro Transit
- Be an active participant and advisor on the Fixed Asset Lifecycle Process and Steering Committee
- Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
We are looking for candidates who have
- Experience in a facilities/maintenance management environment with knowledge of asset lifecycles, work order processing, and preventive maintenance schedules
- Skill and experience providing excellent service to internal and external customers
- Experience in problem identification, analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution
- Skill in analyzing large amounts of data
- Skill and accuracy of data entry, data corrections and data integrity
- Analytical thinking, problem solving, and conflict resolution for bringing others to consensus
- Willingness and ability to apply King County's core values around inclusion, equity, and social justice as a team member and representative of King County to internal and external customers
- Skill in working as an effective team member
- Skills in gathering, manipulating, and using data utilizing computer systems and reporting tools
- Skills in program evaluation, advocacy, and promotion
- Skill in managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Written and oral communications and training/presentation skills
Desired Qualifications (not required)- Previous experience supporting an asset management program with a public agency, especially in the transit sector
- Experience with HxGN EAM (formerly Infor EAM) software or other similar computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Necessary Special Requirements
A Washington State driver's license or alternative ability to occasionally report to various work sites around King County.

Work Schedule
The work week is 40 hours, Monday through Friday. The position is subject to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is therefore eligible for overtime pay if scheduled.
