King County Superior Court has been recognized as a national leader in preserving access to justice by responding operationally to the COVID-19 pandemic. This position is a unique opportunity to join our team as we develop and implement technology solutions to help build upon that success.
The court is looking to enhance the usability of its websites. The person hired for this role will be reaching out to Superior Court’s departments to assess their business needs, reviewing the court’s current intranet sites, and collaborating with the departments to problem-solve and implement improvements.

The responsibilities of this classification are to provide analytical support to end users on automated systems, conduct workflow and interface analyses, design and develop customized reports and queries, in addition to testing and implementing processes for upgrades and conversions. The incumbent consults with customers to refine functional requirements for automated systems, trains end users on system changes, documents modifications to systems, and supports end users.

Work location: This position is located in the King County Courthouse, 516 Third Avenue, Seattle WA 98109. The incumbent may be required to work at other court facilities.
Work schedule: This is a full-time position. The court's business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Work hours for this position may vary, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as needed. This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

- Job Duties
The following duties are not intended to represent the entire functional capacity of the position at the task level.
Analyze needs of website users and internal stakeholders; utilize the content management system to respond to those needs.Work with stakeholders to identify and resolve issues with web-based content.Document workflows and content to be published on the Court’s website.Coordinate, facilitate, and follow up on working sessions to analyze web content needs of the Court.Develop and deliver options for solutions to Court leadership.Lead groups to consensus.Diagnose and resolve problems for end users in person, by phone, email or remotely; troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application, and other issues.Partner with other stakeholders in the County to ensure equal access to web content.Work with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds.Create and implement new processes, procedures, and training in support of new web content management system.Evaluate established methods and procedures along with preparing recommendations for changes to web publishing practices.Collaborate with customers and end users in prioritizing and rating requirements and needs according to their importance and urgency.Write and update training materials and guidelines on system changes, enhancements, or updates.Write and revise web content for the user interfaceProvide training and updates to customers on system changes and process improvements.Maintain system integrity by establishing change management processes and facilitating routine system changesPerform other duties of a similar nature and level.- Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
Bachelor degree and three years of experience doing business analysis; or five years of direct experience with business analysis. Must have practical knowledge in project management principles and methods and experience with web publishing
KNOWLEDGE OF: Specific functional areas and modules for automated systems in an organizational unit; organizational business practices, work flow analysis, business systems design, and process re-engineering; analytical problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues.- Supplemental Information
Special requirements: The ability to reliably travel throughout the County is required. Finalists are subject to the Washington State Patrol criminal background check and a reference check. Criminal background records are not automatically disqualifying.
