Are you ready for the internship of a lifetime? Ready to rub shoulders with Aviation experts and the Blue Angels? Ready to be exposed to one of the busiest cargo airports in the country! Ready to break down barriers and help fight for Equity and Social Justice in your own community? Oh, and you'll earn a fair wage all while learning skills that will propel your career. Here's everything you need to know:

What will you get out of this internship? You will...- Be paired with a mentor;
- Participate in special projects and group interdisciplinary projects developed by your mentor;
- Be provided the opportunity to "job shadow" with other KCIA sections
- Be included in KCIA events, including meetings and hosted events;
- Participate in ongoing professional development including attendance at workshops, seminars, and team tasks;
- Gain valuable job skills that will be valuable in your career.
Work Schedule: This is a 40 hour per week position normally working Monday through Friday, 8 – 5 p.m. during the summer and part time during the school year. Projected to last one year
What are you going to get out of this internship? You will be able to...- Do both office- and field-based work;
- Gain on-the-job skills and learn about careers in airport maintenance and management; and
- Be supervised and mentored by an airport professional.
Q: What benefits will I receive as an intern?
A: You will receive a free ORCA transit fare pass (good on Metro, Pierce Transit, Kitsap Transit, Kitsap Fast Ferries, Community Transit, Everett Transit, Sound Transit and King County's Water Taxi). Additionally, you will accrue .025 hours of paid sick leave for each hour in pay status.

A: High School - $16.71 per hour
