Legal Administrative Specialist II
- Summary
The King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is seeking applications for Legal Administrative Specialist II positions that may come open over the next 2-3 months.
The work associated with this position will partially be performed remotely at least through July 5, 2021. Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet connection where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours. Employees must reside in WA state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements. There will be situations where the employee is required to report to a County worksite. Please note that when an employee conducts work that is likely to bring them in contact with another individual, safety precautions are required by the department in alignment with the Public Health Directive from the Seattle & King County Public Health Officer. After our return to work, the position will either be assigned to the King County Courthouse or the Maleng Regional Justice Center.

Provide administrative support tasks such as data entry, email and document records management; mail sorting, filing and phone support;
Draft, edit compose documents, including emails and letters
Provide customer service to victims, witnesses and the general public that includes the regular handling of difficult and often sensitive situations requiring tact, discretion, and diplomacy;- Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:
Have a background providing excellent customer service and juggling multiple tasks on a daily basis.
Are "out of the box thinkers" who are looking for new ways to solve problems;
Have great communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and working as a team;
Are very reliable and possess great time management skills;
Are detail oriented
Are comfortable with the use of Office Productivity tools in the daily work (The county uses Microsoft Office) and databases.
Bring a great attitude in your approach to work;
