Summary
POSITION DUTIES:
Proactively support application middleware technologies and integration: Monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting and configuration of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) technologies. Monitor and tune OBIEE, performing a variety of system administration tasks. Develop and test ETL application following ETL standards and architecture. Develop and test OBIEE applications: Dashboards and Analytics. Perform database analysis and query tuning and load testing. Perform source control and code migration, RPD data modeling, and Data warehouse database modeling, assuring that Best Practices are adhered to for code, model and analytic development; making recommendations and establishing measures for data quality improvements; assisting the business analysts and technical team with data related issues such as assessing data quality, data consolidation, and evaluating data sources; and leading in the development of the Business Intelligence application(s). Identify and define the DW key facts and dimensions necessary to support the business requirements, developing the logical dimensional model(s). Develop entity and attribute descriptions and definitions for the models and ensure that conflicts in descriptions and definitions are resolved. Perform the activities necessary to support the standardization of facts and dimensions. Perform quality assurance functions and assist the business analyst in mapping the data from source to target. Support data related issues such as assessing data quality, data consolidation, evaluating existing data sources and enforcing ETL and OBIEE standards and architecture. Participate in technology projects and system upgrade. Execute test plans and document results and discrepancies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or the foreign degree equivalent*, and five years of experience developing Business Intelligence solutions utilizing Oracle OBIEE and ODI components.

LOCATION OF EMPLOYMENT: 40 hours/week in Seattle, WA, with some telecommuting required
The work associated with this position will be performed through a combination of teleworking complemented with onsite work and meetings as needed. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet connection (access may be supplemented in some situations) where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours. Please note that when an employee conducts work that is likely to bring them in contact with another individual, safety precautions are required, including the wearing of masks in some situations . King County is doing its part to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and remains committed to reducing our carbon footprint.

- 5 years of experience developing Oracle Business Intelligence Application (OBIA) modules including HR, Financial, Procurement & Spend, and Project Analytics
