This is position is responsible for coordinating logistics and purchases for King County Medic One, who provide paramedic services for all of south King County.
King County Medic One is a public service organization, a critical link in our regional Emergency Medical Service system, providing high quality advanced patient care. Medic One is part of the King County Public Health Seattle and King County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Division.

About the EMS Division:
The EMS Division provides the core regional services that are essential to providing the highest quality out-of-hospital emergency care available. These services ensure that prehospital patient care is delivered at the same standards across the region, regional policies and practices that reflect the diversity of needs are maintained, and local area service delivery is balanced with centralized interests. In addition to Medic One, EMS regional services consist of medical direction, effective research, and quality assurance, along with community programs, strategic planning, and management of the regional EMS levy fund.

Job Duties:- Troubleshooting and triaging ongoing logistics and purchasing issues, resolving accounting and billing discrepancies, responding to inquiries involving purchases and procedures, assisting with preparing and analyzing spreadsheets and reports for managerial review.
- Responsible for developing and monitoring tracking systems, researching and analyzing data to make recommendations and decisions, gathering data, reviewing and analyzing information on medical and other consumable use and acquisitions, and preparing information for others to approve.
- Responsible for tracking, accounting and reconciliation of all capital purchases, and analyzing and improving business processes and procedures for improved service and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- Successful candidate will have 3 years demonstrated experience using ORACLE E-business suite, Microsoft EXCEL, Word, Outlook, SharePoint.
- 3 years demonstrated experience reviewing, verifying, and reconciling goods and invoices, researching and resolving issues, and inventory management.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Operative IQ Inventory and Assets Management software preferred.
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams to successfully complete programmatic objectives.
- Demonstrated ability in adapting to changes with technology, resources, and personnel.
- Experience preparing detailed deliverables within short time periods (e.g., within a week) and the ability to deal with competing demands.
- Demonstrated skill applying critical thinking to make independent decisions.

Work Schedule: This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is overtime eligible. The regular work week is 40 hours, Monday through Friday and may need occasional evening, weekend, and on-call work.

Supplemental Information About Employment at Public Health:- Public Health relies on office automation (Microsoft Office) and web-based enabled tools, therefore candidates must be proficient and comfortable with computer use to perform functions associated with on-going work.
