Nurse Supervisor - Mobile Vaccination Program
- Summary
There is an urgent need to expand mobile vaccination capacity across King County. If you have the passion, desire, and drive to serve those most vulnerable in our community and want to work in an environment that values diversity and approaches situations with a focus on racial equity, then Public Health’s Community Health Services division is the place for you.
The mobile vaccination program is focused on three key areas:
- COVID-19 vaccination to reach high-risk individuals who cannot leave their homes or facilities or face other barriers to making appointments and presenting at a clinic or high-volume sites. Key populations include those living in congregate settings – e.g., people living in homeless shelters or encampments, behavioral health facilities, homebound older adults and individuals with disabilities.
- COVID-19 vaccination at events in partnership with community and faith-based organizations, employers, and other community partners to meet people where they are at.
- Sustaining existing vaccination efforts for flu, Hepatitis A, and other vaccines as needed for those experiencing homelessness.
We are seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the Mobile Vaccination Personal Health Services Supervisor (PHSS) in the Community Health Services Division to oversee one or more of the core areas of the mobile vaccination program. This position will report to the Area Manager for the Mobile Vaccination Program in the Community Health Services Division of Public Health. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and work well in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
