Come and join our event crew! We are seeking energetic Parking Attendants to assist with parking management for Marymoor Park events. Marymoor Park hosts a variety of diverse special events and as a staff member you will be able to provide hospitality to our visitors, the moment, they drive into our parking lot.
This position will participate in traffic control and parking lot management during events, monitor parking areas for violations, and complete lot compliance reports. This position requires the ability to work courteously and appropriately with the public in a variety of situations. This temporary position gives you the opportunity to work with varied groups of folks and work outdoors in a beautiful park setting. We have varied schedules in the evenings and weekends, giving you the option of choosing the events that works best for your schedule.

Job Duties
Core Work Duties
- Provide excellent customer service in person
- Direct traffic to allow for smooth traffic flow
- Direct customers to appropriate event parking areas
- Provide general park and event information to patrons
- Assist in other special event and parking fee management duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Must Haves):
- Demonstrated skill in providing and following oral and written instructions .
- Ability to work independe nt ly and as a member of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to communicate in a positive and professional manner with all park visitors.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining positive work relationships with co-workers.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Flagging certification (on-site training may be available).
Working Conditions:
- Work Location: Marymoor Park, 6046 W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE in Redmond, WA
- Working Conditions: Work occurs outdoors in all types of weather.
- Work Schedule: The work schedule for this position is flexible; primarily evenings and weekends depending on the event. This position allows you the option of choosing the events that works best for your schedule .
- FLSA Status: This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is overtime eligible.
- Union Representation: This position is represented by SEIU 925
