King County Parks is hiring for a Partnerships Concessions & Contracts Project Manager (Project/Program Manager IV) to join the Parks Property Management & Business Revenue team! This position will oversee multiple components of contracts, such as the creation of contracts, development of contract language, and analysis of contracts for code compliance. This role will also assist in the implementation of enterprise related capital projects. This is a great opportunity to develop partnerships to increase community opportunity in King County Parks!

Telecommuting Requirement: The work associated with this position will be performed predominantly by telecommuting, with occasional onsite work and meetings, as influenced by business needs. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities.
Employees must reside in WA state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet connection (access may be supplemented in some situations) where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours. Please note that when an employee conducts work that is likely to bring them in contact with another individual, safety precautions are required by the department in alignment with the Public Health Directive from the Seattle & King County Public Health Officer. - Create contracts and agreements that allow King County Parks to enter into business development transactions geared to generate for Parks operations.
- Work with members of the business development team to develop contract language, terms and conditions of agreements, and work with the prosecuting Attorney’s office and Risk Management on contract review.
- Promote contracts and legal agreements for park properties seeking new opportunities to enter into public/private partnerships.
- Ensure that all Parks Division Agreements are legal and consistent with current business practices, and that any tax or other requirements are appropriately addressed.
- Analyze contracts for compliance with King County Code, Parks Policies and Procedures, land use and zoning regulations, RCW’s, WAC’s, ADA requirements, Lease Hold Excise Tax requirements, labor limitations, zoning limitations, and environmental constraints.
- Assist in the implementation of enterprise related capital projects.
- Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of current work experience or equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the requirements to perform the work, in one or more of the following: contract administration, law, real estate.

- Ability to comprehend complex legal terminology and appropriately apply rules and regulations.

Working Conditions:
- Work Location: Primarily teleworking and the King Street Center 201 S. Jackson St., Seattle WA 98104
- Work Schedule: This position is exempt from the overtime provision of the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) and is not overtime eligible. This full-time position works a 40-hour work week.
