KCIT is seeking a Principal IAM Production Engineer . The Principal IAM Production Engineer will help lead the Engineer team within Security and Privacy on Identity and Access Management systems and services. They will troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical identity and access management related issues across our On-Prem and Cloud Identity infrastructure.

Job Duties
- Work with the Identity Architect to implement strong Identity Management processes
- Collaborate effectively with the other Principal Engineers to assure a robust IAM environment while also looking to the future to improve workflows and systems where needed
- Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical identity and access management related issues
- Improve identity and access management solutions and systems for protection against evolving threats and efficiency
- Keep up with the ever-changing IAM landscape by tracking all changes to the technologies in use as well as the security ramifications involved
Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, computer science or related field and 5+ years of relevant technical or business work experience OR any combination of relevant experience, education, or training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the work will be considered.
- Expert knowledge of identity, authentication and access management technologies and platforms, integrations and workflows, single sign-on and advanced or multi-factor authentication solutions, and access management, audit and monitoring solutions
- Experience with regulatory compliance (HIPAA, CJIS Security Policy, PCI DSS, PII, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID, including identity lifecycle management, Privileged Identity Management, and Cloud Sync processes
- Full working background in creating and maintaining Enterprise Applications and Registrations within Entra ID. An understanding of SAML SSO, API permissioning
- Domain Controller management skills a must
- Advanced knowledge in DNS architecture and management required
- Group Management knowledge with Access Reviews, Dynamic memberships, restricted Aus, and auditing needed
- Working understanding of PKI required
- Skilled at handling multiple competing priorities and resource management
- Skilled at aligning operational objectives and tasks with leadership and governance strategy and objectives
- Excellent customer service and collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Application Proxy competency
- Background in Microsoft Identity Manager (FIM)
- Experience with Guest access and B2C.
- Technical certifications related to information security, risk or compliance, information technology such as network, server, database, cloud infrastructure or engineering, project management methodologies, leadership or other relevant certifications are desired(CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIMP, SABSA, GIAC certifications, OSCP, MCSE or equivalent, Cisco CyberOps, CCNP/CCIE Sec, etc.)
