The Software Engineering team is growing and is looking for multiple Senior Application Developers and a DevOps Release Engineer to join our Software Engineering team and deliver solutions that make a difference. As a member of the team, you will contribute on the development and launch of new applications and product enhancements for a variety of projects in the Microsoft ecosystem, SiteCore and ESRI platforms. You will also serve as an escalation point in providing tier 3 support for applications developed in various legacy technologies.
The ideal Application Developer candidate will have a solid understanding of developing web applications in cloud environments. Our ideal DevOps Release engineer should have strong experience in DevOps and automated software deployment, source code management, and an Azure development skillset. All of our candidates will have commitment to team work, dedication to public service, initiative, drive, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners).

Work Schedule
The normal workweek for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Alternative work schedules may be considered. This position is not eligible for overtime pay.
Duration
We are hiring for multiple positions. One of these positions is a long term, Career Service position. The others are estimated for a duration of 3 years.

- Develop software solutions using Microsoft Power platform with Microsoft Visual Studio
- Develop integrations and custom solutions utilizing API's and SDK's
- Modernize, implement updates, diagnose and fix bugs in legacy software
- Develop and maintain documentation for applications and systems, maintain the code base in Azure DevOps
- Write end-user documentation and/or provide application-specific training to end users, as needed
- Keep up-to-date with latest technology trends applicable to software development; share information and collaborate with peers
- Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) OR an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 2+ years of professional experience working within the Microsoft development stack using several of the following technologies: Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, Microsoft ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft ASP.NET WebAPI, .Net Core, Microsoft Entity Framework 6+, AJAX, HTML, JavaScript, React / Angular frameworks and CSS
- Familiarity with cloud integration and Microsoft Azure – App Service, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Functions.
- Experience in relational and non-relational data storage designs
- Agile and DevOps experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong analytical and strategic skills; ability to synthesize complex information and influence decision makers turning strategy into action
Desirable Qualifications
- Strong experience in Microsoft Power Platform (Dynamics) and/or SiteCore
- Prior experience in public sector and/or a desire to work in public service
