The Tuberculosis (TB) Control Program is looking for an Administrative Specialist III to assist in the management of the Washington Tuberculosis Collaborative Network (WTCN). The successful candidate will organize weekly telehealth sessions; gather data and report on project activities; assist in resolving client and WTCN project issues; and be a part of the TB Control Programs administrative team.

WHO MAY APPLY: This is a a part time, career service position that is open to the general public.
WORK SCHEDULE: This part time position has a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 20 hrs per week. The schedule requires an 8hr shift on Monday and the remaining hours can be flexibly worked throughout the remainder of the week within clinic hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

WORK LOCATION: This position will primarily at Harborview Medical Center, located at 325 Ninth Ave in Seattle, WA 98104. As needed, the position may be deployed to other Public Health Centers and sites throughout King County.

Manage and coordinate project staff and client schedules
- Serve as technical facilitator for videoconferencing and telehealth sessions
- Develop and revise training and program materials with other staff
- Work with program staff to coordinate travel arrangements for project staff
- Develop and distribute individual action plan reports for clients
- Manage continuing education certification and credits (e.g., CME, CNE)
- Triage phone calls and monitor project emails
- Track and data enter service requests from clients
- Assist administrative team with various duties
OTHER DUTIES: This position is part of a clerical team and will be cross-trained to fill in for other clerical positions regularly. Incumbents may be required to train other staff on the duties performed by this position.- Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems, evaluate and implement a solution.
- Proven skill in operating and troubleshooting conference type meeting equipment (including telephone and video).
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate (in person, in writing, over the phone), maintain and cultivate healthy relationships, and work with diverse groups including the general public, medical and non-medical community partners, managers, and co-workers
- Demonstrated ability to develop and complete complex assignments with minimal direct supervision.
- Proven ability to efficiently use databases that can track and generate reports on quantitative and qualitative data.
