Work Schedule: This position is exempt and not eligible for overtime. Typical hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, however, the incumbent may be required to work extended and/or flexible hours to respond to the deadlines and emergency work needs.

- Job Duties
- Oversee and drive project plan supporting development and implementation of integrated provider network contracting with fully integrated managed care system.
- Align and manage multiple and intersecting work streams to reach work plan milestones and development of the integrated provider network, including but not limited to internal operational functions as well as governance committees and processes.
- Provide and oversee staffing support for all governance committees supporting the integrated provider network and decision making (including Executive Committee, Clinical Operations Committee, Finance Committee, Network Provider Group, and other ad-hoc committees).
- Ensure alignment, connections, and follow through across Governance Committee agendas, action items, decisions, and deliverables.
- Monitor and identify changes needed to ensure each Governance Committee is meeting work plan deliverables and timelines ensuring development and follow through of all action items
- Establish and maintain common templates and systems supporting governance committees, including but not limited to meeting agendas, materials, minutes, and communications.
- Track internal operations and system changes needed to support work plan milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate with joint operations committee convening with managed care plans to ensure that internal operations are aligned with managed care systems and requirements.
- Under the leadership of the BHRD Deputy Director, consult with senior leadership on work plan milestones, challenges, and steps needed to deliver on deadlines. Coordinate and work in cooperation with BHRD and its consultant, Health Management Associates.
- Ensure communication and coordination across Governance Committees as well as internal operations staff and functions.
- Facilitate meetings as requested as needed.
- Provide overall multi-sector coordination to accomplish work plan milestones and deliverables.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Behavioral Health or Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of four years of professional experience relevant to the duties of this position. A Master's Degree may substitute for 1 year of experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, developing objectives, timeframes, deliverables and assessment criteria; reporting on project status, goals, budget, schedule and other issues, and leading teams to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of performance management and strategic planning practices and tools.
- Strategic problem solving skills – ability to anticipate future challenges/opportunities and integrate into analysis, design, and implementation when addressing current problems.
- Strong facilitation skills.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Ability to synthesize complex ideas and communicate them in an understandable way to others.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate through complex political and organizational structures effectively.
- Experience with Microsoft Project or other project management software.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Skill in developing graphic representation of complex data for a variety of audiences.
- Ability to meet work deadlines, stay on task with frequent interruptions, and balance priorities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Predictable and reliable attendance.
- Must possess (or able to obtain) a valid Washington State driver's license or have the ability to attend meetings at various locations throughout the county in a timely fashion.
- Desired Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
- Knowledge of health policy and service delivery issues.
- Knowledge of the state and county's health transformation policies.
- Lived experience.
