Deliver new approaches to upstream and downstream innovation to companies for business growth strategy planning applying expertise in research, business strategy and design. Use strategic management, marketing management and operations management knowledge to design, manage, analyze and participate in gathering market insights (qualitative and quantitative) by conducting in-depth and revealing interviews with thought leaders; conducting secondary research, focus groups, ethnography and surveys; recognizing anomalies and patterns in research; articulating findings through presentations to peers and clients; and recognizing, prioritizing and evaluating market trends that could lead to business growth opportunities. Provide guidance to project team members, project support specialists and graphics designers to fulfill the project scope and successfully deliver on the client’s needs. Provide leadership, process management and inspiration to produce innovative outputs that delivers growth to clients. You will apply strategic management, negotiating skills, IT management knowledge and technical writing skills to: execute primary and secondary research to develop Future Scenarios across various industries; conduct interviews with ecosystem members; document research findings into written presentations and deliverables for the client; and verbally articulate information to clients. You will be a catalyst in continuing to position the company as a best-in-class innovation strategy firm with clients and the world around them. You will participate in the development of new business by effectively communicating with C-suite executives and cultivating current relationships and interest by presenting NewEdge’s capabilities, defining scopes of work, presenting potential project outlines and participating in negotiations with current clients to finalize contracts. You will develop and influence NewEdge services throughout many levels of a client’s organization and may ultimately participate in the development of new client relationships.
