What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a skilled Licensing Assistant to join our team. In this role, you’ll help administer license agreements for participants in our Product Verification Program (PVP). You will be responsible for providing exceptional support across all licensing processes including helping to build systems to better manage and store files. As we seek to improve best practices, you will also be interfacing with our database systems and systematically updating agreements on an ongoing basis. This role is highly administrative in nature, but also involves quite a bit of team and client interface. The Licensing Assistant will report directly to the Client Experience Manager and will work with the Client Experience Team to further develop our rapidly growing verification program.
Areas of Responsibilities:
- Draft and review license agreements, amendments, legal notices and other documents related to the PVP
- Work with the Client Experience Team and Contract Manager to update license agreements in a systematic way across all clients
- Interface with our certification and CRM databases to upload and manage documents and correspondence, and retrieve and update license agreement information on an ongoing basis
- Confidently interface with clients around licensing matters
- Work closely with the Client Experience and Legal Teams to resolve client-specific licensing matters as needed
- Support the development and implementation of efficient and effective practices around licensing management and maintenance

- Proficient working in a CRM, database systems, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Able to work on-site in Bellingham, WA at least 2 days a week
Experience You Bring
We place a high value on lived experience coupled with professional experience
- Exposure to environmental studies, science, business, marketing, communications OR equivalent work experience
- Experience providing direct client-facing and/or administrative support
- A demonstrated interest in food systems, the natural products industry, and the GMO issue
