WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The IT Department Manager leads and manages Opportunity Council’s IT department, providing support, oversight and coordination of the IT staff team, agency-wide IT functions, and daily IT operations. The IT Manager engages with agency departments to determine their IT needs, identifies systems to best meet the agency’s IT requirements, and ensures the agency’s IT systems are fully functional, secure against intrusions, and updated as needed. Additional responsibilities include long-term IT planning to meet the agency’s strategic plan; IT project management, including assisting with department systems implementation as needed; staff supervision; customer service; and budget management.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• Minimum four year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience/education
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in a professional IT environment
• Minimum two years supervisory experience
• Minimum two years of IT help desk or customer service support for a large team, department, or equivalent
• Experience with systems implementation in a professional IT environment
• Experience with project management
• Experience with budgetary management
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License or obtain by date of hire.

COMPENSATION: $85,000-$93,000 annually
