Orca Land Surveying in Everett, WA is hiring for multiple field and office positions!
FIELD POSITIONS:
A full-time Field Technician (Party Chief), and a Trainee (Zero experience necessary for the Trainee).
You would be part of a one or two-person field crew and would be responsible for completing a variety of projects, from topographic and boundary surveys as well as construction staking and monitoring.
We are especially interested in individuals who are self-motivated and interested in eventually becoming licensed surveyors.
Your responsibilities would include, but not limited to:
• keeping detailed survey notes
• data collection
• maintenance of field equipment and vehicles
• running an efficient, safe crew.
Experience:
• Ability to use data collection software
• Working experience with robotic total stations (Leica and GPS)
• Experience with topographic, boundary and construction surveying
• Experience: 3 years Preferred • Ability to lift 50lbs Required:
• Washington State Driver's License with Clean Driving Record
Compensation:
• Hourly compensation $25 - $35 DOE

OFFICE POSITIONS:
We are looking for a full-time Professional Land Surveyor to manage our survey department (Or an LSIT looking to get their PLS license).
Experience and Qualifications:
• Current Washington State PLS or LSIT with ability to obtain their license.
• Capable of managing projects, communicating well with clients.
• Ability to manage survey crews and office staff in performing: (but not limited to)
• Control, boundary, topography, ALTA/NSPS, FEMA, platting, land divisions, construction surveying services.
• Experience with Survey Field Equipment, GPS, Office Software, and AutoCAD.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License
Compensation:
• Hourly compensation $40 - $60 DOE
