Financial / Rates Analyst
Join our more than 750 dedicated employees! For this role, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field with two + years of experience is required. Professional certification not required but encouraged. Must have an understanding of utility accounting and financial operations necessary to analyze and complete timely and accurate financial forecasts and revenue requirement calculations; maintain and administer spreadsheets and budget/forecast software; analyze and strategically think to effectively evaluate financial implications of business decisions and the impacts they have on revenues, expenses, and cash flows. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are required. Must have knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), the FERC Uniform System of Accounts and be familiar with the Federal tax code.
