Chief of Engineering and Operations

Pacific Public Utility District is seeking a dedicated Chief of Engineering and Operations to lead our Engineering and Operations departments. The successful candidate will design and manage engineering projects covering substation, transmission and distribution (overhead and underground) systems. They will also oversee operations management, and strategic initiatives to ensure the continued success and growth of our utility services.

Minimum qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, 10 years experience in utility electrical distribution, transmission and substation engineering – five years of which include supervisory experience, experience in utility operations, Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) License or ability to obtain within 180 days if licensed in another state, and valid Washington State driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Work Week: Monday – Thursday; 7am – 6pm
Supervisor: General Manager
Monthly Salary Range: $14,190 to $18,619 per month; DOE
