Assistant Principal
Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) and ReLife Center of Excellence School seeks an Assistant Principal to provide support to the instructional process and oversee assigned programs and services; provide information and serve as a resource to others; supervise assigned staff; coordinate school activities and address issues, situations and/or problems that arise on campus or with enrolled students.
ReLife School offers a full continuum of multi-disciplinary services based on student strengths and needs to King, Pierce and Thurston County districts. Instruction is delivered to students in grades 2 through 12 in a site-based model focused on academics with a strong social/emotional component incorporated. The program partners with parents and community agencies to serve the whole child. The mission of ReLife is "Meeting academic and behavioral needs, one student at a time".
PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts, charter schools, community based organizations and state-approved private schools in Washington. Educational Service Districts, created by the legislature, are an essential regional delivery system for early learning and K-12 services in the state. Minimum Qualifications
- MA/MS degree (or higher) in job-related field.
- Current Washington State Principal or Administrative Credential (or equivalent)
- Professional administrative, management and supervisory experience with special education students and/or programs, or students with mental health or behavioral health needs.
- Demonstrates an understanding and commitment to using a racial equity lens.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with at-risk and/or special education youth.
- Experience with special education compliance, laws, and regulations.
- Knowledge and experience in curriculum development, coaching, and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Schedule: Full time (260 days/year, ~8 hours/day)
Salary: Administrative Salary Schedule - Band N $83,502 - $101,739
Salary offers consider candidate qualifications, experience and internal equity.
