Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks an Early Warning Intervention Specialist to provide evidence-based interventions according to identified early warning indicators to promote the successful completion of a high school diploma or equivalent. The Early Warning Intervention Specialist will assist in the development, implementation, and training of internal and external partners in early warning intervention systems including related policies and tiered evidence-based practices at schools, Community Truancy Boards, Student Assistance Teams, etc. The Early Warning Intervention Specialist will also conduct home visits, educational support groups, parent meetings, and parent nights to assist students and their families with effective intervention supports.

Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Education, Social Services, or other job-related field, or an AA degree and progressively responsible job-related experience
- Job-related experience providing school-based interventions using early warning indicators (i.e., attendance and behavior)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience gathering data for assessments/evaluations involving students
- Experience working with adolescents
- Experience providing family supports

Location: Office based in Renton with work located in King and Pierce Counties
Job Type: Full time, 40hrs/week; position ends on June 30, 2024 unless additional funding is secured
Hiring Salary Range: $57,487 – $75,427 (Salary Band D)
Full Salary Range: $57,487 – $83,257 (Salary Band D)
