Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a highly skilled Human Resources Technician that ensures ongoing technical Human Resources and Organizational Development services (e.g., talent acquisition and retention, benefits administration, classification and compensation, employee relations, leave administration, etc.) are provided to internal and external clients that results in greater alignment of staff to meet the Agency’s End and commitment to becoming an Antiracist Multicultural Organization. Specifically, the Human Resources Technician will be instrumental in the oversight of the non-regular workforce program (i.e., on-call, substitutes, interpreters, temporary services, independent contractors, etc.), and support in various technical needs such as recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s/Vocational degree in job-related area
    • High School Diploma/GED and progressively responsible job-related experience may substitute for Associate’s/Vocational degree
  • Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to using a racial equity lens
  • Administrative support experience in the efficient management of multiple functions
  • High level of communication, organization, attention to detail, delegation, collaboration, and customer service skills
  • Spreadsheet and database management experience, including data entry, manipulation, analysis, and report creation
  • Experience working with diverse groups toward common goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a human resource environment
  • MS application and HRIS or other HR systems experience
