The Workers' Compensation Trust and Unemployment Pool seeks an experienced Loss Control Consultant to lead safety and pre-loss initiatives aimed at cultivating a best-practice risk management culture to promote health and safety at the workplace. The position collaborates closely and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to prevent workplace injuries, investigate incidents/accidents, and enable the adoption of strategies to mitigate job-related risks within assigned school districts.
PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts, charter schools, and state-approved private schools in Washington. Educational Service Districts, created by the legislature, are an essential regional delivery system for early learning and K-12 services in the state. Minimum Qualifications
- BA in job-related field (AA Degree with progressively responsible job-related experience may substitute for BA degree.)
- Experience providing safety and loss control services.
Preferred Qualifications
(Cover letter should specifically address any experience meeting the preferred qualifications)
- Knowledge of workers' compensation risk management best practices.
- Experience fulfilling client stewardship activities.
- Safety/loss control-related designation (CSP, ALCM, ARM, etc.)

The anticipated salary range for this position is $62,312-$72,263/year.
