Program Coordinator (Administrative Assistant)

Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a highly skilled Program Coordinator (Administrative Assistant) to provide administrative and fiscal support to the Business and Operations Departments. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Business and Operations, the Program Coordinator will coordinate and monitor a wide variety of complex activities, plan and oversee events and meetings, provide administrative and technical support, serve as a departmental resource, and provide ongoing support to staff both within PSESD and the region’s educational community.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate/Vocational Degree in job-related field
    • High School Diploma/GED equivalency and progressively responsible job-related work experience may substitute for AA/Vocational Degree
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding and commitment to both personal and organizational racial equity journeys
  • Experience in the efficient management of multiple functions for several staff in a busy office environment
  • Writing, proofreading, and editing experience
  • Experience designing creative documents and presentations
  • Spreadsheet and database management experience, including data entry, manipulation, analysis, and/or report creation
  • Budget & invoice management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with fiscal support
  • Experience with administrative support
  • Excellent computer skills
  • SharePoint or other website publishing software experience
  • Familiarity with virtual technologies for meeting support (e.g., Zoom, RingCentral, Teams)
  • Previous experience with planning and prioritization of tasks and projects for multiple staff

Salary: $54,133 - $71,027 Annually (Salary Band D)
