Purchasing and AP Compliance Manager
PSESD is seeking a Purchasing and AP Compliance Manager to direct, plan, and coordinate Purchase to Pay accounting activities and reporting requirements. Duties will include providing and maintaining accurate financial records in the accounting system; serving as a liaison to agency staff, vendors/contractors, and state auditors; ensuring compliance with federal, state, local and/or district laws, regulations, and policies related to procurement and payment of/for goods and services; and providing supervision and oversight of the accounting activities completed by assigned staff.
PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts, charter schools, and state-approved private schools in Washington. Educational Service Districts, created by the legislature, are an essential regional delivery system for early learning and K-12 services in the state. - BA degree in a job-related field (AA/AAS Degree in a job-related field, and progressively responsible job-related work experience may substitute for BA)
- Prior experience supervising others
Preferred Qualifications (Cover letter should specifically address any experience meeting the preferred qualifications)
- Washington Association of School Business Officials (WASBO) Certification; or Certification in Public Procurement and School Accounting
- Experience with accounting, purchasing, and payment systems and practices
- Experience developing and implementing procurement and payment procedures
- Experience managing staff and building a team

The anticipated salary range for this position is $77,252-$101,361/year (Salary Band = L).
