Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a Purchasing/Contract Administrator to develop, monitor, and manage PSESD purchasing systems in compliance with agency directives, and state/federal regulations.
PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts, charter schools, and state-approved private schools in Washington. Educational Service Districts, created by the legislature, are an essential regional delivery system for early learning and K-12 services in the state. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in job-related field. (AA/AAS in job-related area, or Washington Association of School Business Officials (WASBO) certification, or Certified School Business Specialist (CSBS), and five years of applicable experience may substitute for the BA requirement)
- Governmental or school district purchasing/procurement/contracts experience
Preferred Qualifications
(Cover letter should specifically address any experience meeting the preferred qualifications)
- Procurement Certification
- Experience administering public works contracts
- Experience working with E-Rate

This is a full-time, year 'round position, based in Renton. The anticipated salary range for this position is $62,312-$81,758/year (Band H).
