Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a Senior Site Coordinator to lead the fast-paced operational duties of a busy Licensed Childcare Facility that has Head Start, Early Head Start, and Seattle Preschool Program. Duties include supervising Mentor Teachers, managing the delivery of licensed childcare services, and providing operational leadership for center logistics.
The position is based in White Center and is part of our innovative Educare of Greater Seattle Program, which provides services to children and families in the multicultural communities of White Center and Burien. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 45 credits in Early Childhood Education
- High school Diploma and progressively responsible job-related experience with 45 Early Childhood Education Credits may substitute for AA
- Experience overseeing or managing a multi-disciplinary full day, full year early childhood/family support program
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Head Start Program
- Experience working with families, staff, and/or community members of diverse backgrounds
