Monitors juvenile salmon during spring emigration using a rotary screw trap on the Puyallup and White Rivers. Samples, collects, and enters data. Maintains and secures traps. Requires Associate’s and two years field experience in fisheries; or Bachelor’s in Environmental Science or related field; valid driver’s license and insurance. Must be comfortable working in and around boats in inclement weather. Must be on call, within 35 miles of the trap, and available to respond to emergencies while on shift. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to hire.
