Rainier Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking full-time veterinary assistants to join our growing team!
We are seeking motivated veterinary assistants who are looking for long-term employment with an independently-owned, established veterinary practice in the Seattle area. Candidates must be able to provide excellent customer care as well as perform the duties necessary to support the clinic and assist our veterinarians. The successful candidates must be detail oriented, reliable, and genuinely care and be concerned for our patients’ well-being. They must be self-motivated and take direction on tasks that can be completed in a timely fashion, with or without supervision. Previous experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right individuals!

The well-qualified candidates will have:
♣ High School diploma or equivalent (required)
♣ One year of previous vet assistant or tech experience (preferred)
♣ Be detail oriented and enjoy a fast-paced work environment
♣ Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
♣ Exhibit dedication to team and patient care
♣ Basic knowledge of computer systems (knowledge of Impromed/Infinity software is a plus)
♣ Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for a full eight hours
