T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks Business Assurance Specialists in Bellevue, WA to be responsible for developing controls and performing deep dive analysis, ensuring oversight of company revenue and cost flows. Perform deep dive customer behavior analysis to identify revenue leakages and opportunities along with process/offer improvements. Conduct data discovery and business analysis to identify process efficiency gaps through data mining across multiple data sources. Review business rules and policies over certain processes and validate that they are valid and working as expected. Construct executive-level presentations and present complex analytical findings in clear, concise, and decision-impacting manner. Manage and develop revenue assurance audits and controls to oversee revenue and cost flows. Work with business teams to review and improve existing processes. Extract and analyze revenue and cost data to detect leaks and opportunities to improve margins. Review upcoming marketing offers to determine financial risks. Perform post-mortem analysis of launched offers to verify implementation accuracy and validate business case assumptions and outcomes. Document and present audit results, analytical findings and proposed solutions. Foster relationships with key cross-functional partners and internal stakeholders. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or its foreign equivalent, and 3 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or its foreign equivalent, and 5 years of relevant work experience. In addition, the following skills are required: (1) Database querying, including Teradata/Oracle SQL, to conduct data analysis across disparate database sources for the reporting insights to executive stakeholders; (2) Exporting output of database analysis to use as inputs for quantitative analysis in Excel, including financial modeling and KPI/business driver modeling; (3) Creating data visualizations that accurately reflect analytical results, for the purpose of presenting analytical findings to executive stakeholders using PowerPoint; (4) Using data analysis and data mining to conduct data encode, transform, load (ETL), including data cleaning and normalization to prepare data for visualization, querying, and statistical and quantitative analysis; and (5) Utilizing experience in Finance, Risk Management, and Business Assurance to review processes, identify gaps, analyze areas of potential risk, and build strong controls to mitigate it as well as oversee company revenue and cost flows. Washington Pay Range: $128,793.60 to $139,000.00 per year. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
