T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks Sr Analysts, Credit Risk Management in Bellevue, WA to work independently with a team of analysts to identify new credit segmentation opportunities using statistical methods leading to enhancements to our credit decision process and policies, collections strategies, and fraud strategies. Partner with members of the Credit Risk Management team and other functional teams in T-Mobile for the deployment, analysis and tracking of new credit strategies to manage risk. Manipulate large amounts of data, extract key insights from the data, and then clearly and concisely communicate actionable recommendations based upon insights. Participate in projects at various stages from idea or hypothesis generation to development and implementation. Contribute as a credit data expert, analytic methodology specialist and primary statistics analyst. Utilize statistical segmentation techniques to identify new opportunities. Perform complex qualitative and quantitative analysis of credit polices to ensure financial goals are being attained. Develop predictive financial and analytical models using the appropriate statistical methodologies, including trend and regression analysis. Participate and perform the analysis of new data and statistical products by external vendors. Perform loss forecasting analysis. Extract, process and transform data from multiple disparate sources. Analyze credit bureau data and alternative credit data. Deliver work output with full awareness and adherence to project timelines or agreed upon deadlines. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management or related field, or its foreign equivalent, and 5 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Engineering Management or related field, or its foreign equivalent, and 3 years of relevant work experience. In addition, the following skills are required: (1) Using SQL, SAS, advanced excel, python, or other statistical/analytical programming languages to manipulate large amounts of data, extract key insights from the data, and then clearly and concisely communicate actionable recommendations based upon insight; (2) Working independently to identify new segmentation opportunities using statistical methods including decision tree, clustering, leading to enhancements to decision process and policies; (3) Developing analytical models using the appropriate statistical methodologies; and (4) Extracting, loading, and transforming data from multiple sources necessary for statistical, reporting and ad-hoc analysis. Washington Pay Range: $128,125.00 to $148,800.00 per year. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
