T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks Sr Engineers, Data in Bellevue, WA to utilize planning and influencing skills to lead all aspects of development work as required to implement new systems capabilities. Analyze data to discover trends and patterns to come up with Business influencing metrics and use cases. Work with all the Customer Device History data and are responsible for digitally redefining Supply Chain data to near real-time strategic applications. Design, Develop and maintain data coming from front-end Retail and Non-Retail applications: Device & Products, Logistics & Transportation, Planning, Automations & Robotics while working in Big Data & Cloud Environments. Monitor cyber security for Supply Chain data in-transit and at rest, creating ways for over 30K users to access our data, tracking, and recovering over $3M a week, and providing new data tools for over 9.6K retail stores while supporting over 120M customers. Develop Business Intelligence Extract-Transform-Load Applications to enable business users from Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to perform business driven analysis. Work with Business to analyze Business Requirements and translate to Techno-Functional requirements for DevOps teams to consume. Utilize SQL and TD utilities to implement applications on RDMS Teradata version 14 or 15 and utilizing coding skills to develop robust data solutions for Batch and Streaming Big data and Cloud data repositories. Assist Development Lead and develop Ingestion pipelines, ETL jobs and Stored Procedures for SQL Server, Teradata, Azure, and Snowflake application. Perform application development on at least two projects impacting multiple business units and working with at least two business applications systems providing tier 3 production support. Coordinate with a team of developers to conduct ETL development performance tuning with high-volume data. Code in a DevOps environment (Production and Non-Production) within a SCRUM/SAFe framework to deliver Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery automations using tools like Gitlab, GitHub and Jenkins. Develop reporting solutions using PowerBI, Qlik Sense and Tableau to support Business Intelligence gathering for the Business and Executive Leadership to make quick and better decisions. Review defects and collaborate across enterprise-wide functional and technical teams to determine the technical path forward for next development steps with data architects and program solution owners. Perform and contribute to Quality Control activities for enterprise-wide projects which involves managing, logging, and using large-scale Test Management applications like Quality Center, qTest, and Jira. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related, or its foreign equivalent, and 3 year of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related, or its foreign equivalent, and 5 years of relevant work experience. In addition, the following skills are required: (1) Creating solutions on Supply Chain data to cater to specific Business scenarios, and use cases, visualizations and reporting in Power BI, Qlik Sense or Tableau; (2) Designing and building Development frameworks (re-usable) on Cloud technologies like Azure (ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, App Services, Synapse Analytics) and AWS (Glue, ECL, S3); (3) Modelling, building, and testing complex ingestion patterns and Stored Procedures on On-Prem systems including Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake or DB2, catering to enterprise-wide Business projects and operations; (4) Designing and building Big Data Engineering solutions involving complex ETL processes and unique ingestion patterns using Big Data technologies Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Informatica; (5) Developing enterprise standard Quality Control solutions with stress on automation, efficiency and scalability using programming languages Python/Pyspark, Java, PowerShell/Unix scripting; (6) Using industry standard Test Management tools qTest, HP Application Lifecycle Management and implementing the same for Enterprise-wide projects; and (7) Utilizing DevOps (SCRUM/SAFe framework), Agile (using Jira, Jira Align or Rally), Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins and continuous integration practices and platforms to implement, maintain, and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery processes. Washington Pay Range: $167,982.91 to $184,900.00/year. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
