T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks Sr. Managers, Product Management in Bellevue, WA to lead a data quality team to deliver accurate and timely datasets for Products and Supply Chain operations. Manage a team to develop and automate large scale, high-performance ETL processes to drive Data staging, Report and Dashboard subscriptions, and improve the Report experience. Understand and influence logging to support data flow, architecting logging best practices where needed. Contribute to shared Data Engineering tooling and standards to improve the productivity and quality of output for Data Engineers across the organization. Provide leadership oversight to a team that is responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of the business’ ETLs and Data pipelines. Build cross functional relationships between business solutions and IT support groups to ensure alignment in all data engineering processes, ensuring that teams work effectively together in prioritizing and accurately tracking tasks. Lead a team and drive results through that team to ensure all roadblocks are resolved and tasks are completed accurately and timely. Review reports developed by the team, including accuracy and presentation. Contribute to the career advancement of team members through coaching and trainings. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicant must work from the worksite location at least 3-4 days per week. No additional national or international travel is anticipated. Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related, and 5 year of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related, and 7 years of relevant work experience. In addition, the following skills are required: (1) Utilizing SQL to retrieve and analyze data from database tables using TSQL, MySQL, Oracle, DataBricks and Azure SQL; (2) Utilizing Python and Azure Data Factory automation and data modelling; (3) Experiencing SQL Service Analysis Services for data modeling by building and managing source of truth data sets using Cubes; (4) Understanding theory and practicing design of experiments and statistical analysis of Predictive models; (5) Understanding theory and practicing information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining; and (6) Drawing insights from data and clearly communicate them to both business and technical teams. Washington Pay Range: $191,835.00 - $247,200.00/year. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
