Seattle Times Media Solutions is hiring for a experience Data Analyst to join our Advertising team! The Advertising Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring operational excellence in our Advertising support systems, primarily Salesforce. This includes being the department’s primary contact and acting as the go-to resource for these systems. Ultimately, this role is a key liaison between Advertising leadership and IT Service Delivery. Successful candidates should feel comfortable troubleshooting system issues while providing insight and technical support.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to Salesforce Cases queue to support end users
- Administer account transfers as directed by Advertising leadership
- Process and maintain accurate contract information for Advertising accounts
- Administer and maintain Advertising SharePoint page
- Provide ongoing training and support to Advertising department in Salesforce and other Advertising systems
- Update rates, sales structure, and other settings in Salesforce and other Advertising systems
- Design and run ad-hoc and recurring reports and dashboards in Salesforce
- Assist IT service delivery in testing new features and bug fixes as required
- Stay updated on Advertising ticket status in JIRA
- Deliver information and analysis to help identify improvements and optimization strategies
- Pull data from multiple systems and sources for analysis and reporting that drives decisions, operations, and translates into revenue opportunities and growth
Qualifications
- Experience: at least one year of hands on experience in Salesforce
- Education: High school diploma. College degree preferred (or equivalent combination of experience).
- Experience in support, training, and/or Salesforce administration preferred
- Digital media an advertising experience preferred
- Previous experience administrating MS SharePoint
- High proficiency in sales/CRM tools and Microsoft Excel
- Must be highly organized
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Conceptual thinking abilities and strategic problem-solving skills
- Interest in digital media technologies
- Proven expertise at developing, implementing, and adhering to organizational processes derived from best practices
- Demonstrated technical skills and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple concurrent assignments
