The Department of Classics is a dynamic and creative unit with 11 faculty and 1 staff member serving 33 undergraduate majors, 15 graduate students, and over 10,000 student credit hours per year in courses pertaining to the ancient Greek and Roman world. The Administrator reports to the Chair, acting independently under the Chair’s general direction within the University's policies and procedures. Specific responsibilities include general administration, business planning, financial management, personnel, facilities support, research support, development, and other functions as necessary.
