Odegaard Writing and Research Center has an outstanding Academic Student Employee opportunity for a Graduate Student Coordinator. This GSA position is a 50% FTE position for three consecutive quarters spanning Autumn 2019-Spring 2020.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Workshop Coordination & Facilitation
Collaboration & Administration
DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: approximately September 16, 2019 to June 30, 2020.
HOURS: This position will be approximately 20 hours per week, with a 220 hours per quarter expectation in fall, winter and spring quarters. The Graduate Student Coordinator’s primary work location will be in the main OWRC site in Odegaard Library on the UW Seattle Campus. The Graduate Student Coordinator will primarily perform their duties Monday through Friday within OWRC’s standard operating hours of 9am-9pm. Based on the needs of the program there may be some evening and weekend work. Work schedule may change week to week to accommodate instructors in-class workshop requests.
SALARY: The position provides tuition (a waiver of the operating fee, technology fee and building fee) and GAIP insurance plus standard salary. Salary is commensurate with student standing.
CREDIT LOAD: Must be formally enrolled as a UW graduate student for at least 10 credits each quarter for fall, winter, and spring quarters.
