UWMC has an outstanding opportunity for a part-time (90%), night shift, CARDIAC MONITOR TECHNICIAN. Under general supervision, the Cardiac Monitoring Technician assists the nursing staff through the surveillance of monitors and the performance of clerical duties. Duties include: analysis/documentation of cardiac rhythms, constant surveillance and hourly documentation of rhythms, and efficient and respectful communication with team members.

REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED and completion of a course in cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation, or one year experience in monitor surveillance in a coronary care/telemetry unit.
